Hi friends
Most of the time we use standard pressurized balls to play tennis ... What some of you may ignore is that there are bales without pressure that can be very good to train. Personally I use it regularly, especially with the ball machine.
In this article I explain a little bit about the difference between these two types of bullets, this will help you choose the one that best suits your specific needs.

Pressurized
The pressurized bullets are the most used, these are those used during competitions and official matches. They are designed with a nucleus filled with air/gas under pressure, which gives them certain distinctive characteristics:
- Performance: pressurized balls offer a pleasant rebound and search by most players.
- Game sensations: they give a feeling to the impact, appreciated by many players.
- Lifespan: however, these balls tend to lose their pressure over time, which reduces their performance after prolonged use. They are therefore often replaced after a few games. (a few hours of play)
- High cost: due to their relatively low lifespan, play with pressurized bullets representing a certain cost
Ball without pressure
The balls without pressure, also called non-pressurized bullets, are slightly different and the non-pressurized aspect gives them increased longevity:
- Performance: The non-pressurized balls offer sensations very similar to the pressurized ball, I see some players judge its balls a little harder.
- Construction: These balls are made with thicker and dense rubber which does not depend on the internal pressure to offer a good rebound.
- Sustainability: they retain their rebound characteristics much longer than pressurized bullets, even after intensive use.
- Game sensations: they may seem a little heavier and rigid, which can affect the player's feeling during the impact.
- Economic: because of their lifespan believed these bullets are economic.
NB: Personally I use a lot of balls without pressure because I have a ball machine and if I had to use balls with pressure, it would cost me a fortune each year ... (several thousand euros per year) thanks At the ball without pressure, I save substantial and it allows me to train properly.
Choice according to needs
Recreational use / training: Balls without pressure can be favored for recreational use or for training, because they last longer without requiring frequent replacement.
Competitions: for competitions or players looking for optimal performance, the pressurized balls are the standard choice.
Game environment: Balls without pressure can better withstand difficult climatic conditions, such as humidity or cold, without altering their performance.
In conclusion, your choice between a pressurized ball and a ball without pressure will depend on your personal priorities in terms of performance, feeling of play, and sustainability. Consider your specific needs and the conditions in which you play most often to make the best choice.
