The idea is to create sharp angles by playing shots with a lot of spin and reducing ball speed. By doing this, you can open up spaces on the court and force your opponent to move more, often towards the corners of the court, putting them in a defensive position.
How and when to use effects:
Topspin: By using topspin, you can make the ball bounce higher and faster after the bounce, making it easier to play short cross-court shots.
Slice: The slice allows you to play low balls which can slide and destabilize the opponent. The slice can be particularly useful for short balls, especially on backhands.
