Returning after injury - the mental battle is real 😟

Hey everyone. I'm finally cleared to play after a 3-month shoulder injury. Physically, I'm 100% ready according to my physio, but mentally... it's a different story.

Every time I go for a big serve or overhead, I hesitate. That fear of re-injury is totally messing with my game and confidence.

Has anyone else been through this? How did you get past the mental block and start playing freely again?

Focus on what you CAN control. I spent my first sessions back just working on footwork and slice backhands (my safe shot). Avoiding the risky moves at first helped rebuild my court confidence without the panic.
