Hi friends !
This exercise is useful for improving cushioning technique in tennis. It involves juggling the ball with the racket while moving laterally across the court from left to right and right to left.
Execution of the exercise:
- Hold the racket with one hand near the handle.
- Start bouncing the ball on the racket by hitting it gently. The goal is to maintain full control over the ball and bounce it consistently on the racket.
- As you juggle the ball, start moving sideways across the court, going left to right and right to left.
- Focus on maintaining good control of the ball while moving. Try to keep a regular rhythm of bouncing while performing your lateral movements.
TIPS: You can alternate forehand and backhand to make the exercise a little tougher 😉
By juggling the ball with the racket while moving,
You learn to adjust your touch and control the bounce of the ball, which is essential for achieving effective drop shots on the court.
