Hi friends !
This exercise aims to perfect the slice serve and use it to create openings on the court and to prepare winning shots.
Execution of the exercise:
- Player A begins by serving with a slice serve.
- The objective is to create space on the court by using the slice effect to bring the return of serve away from the center of the court.
- After the serve, Player B hits a groundstroke (either forehand or backhand) to the opposite side of the court.
- The idea is to exploit the opening created by the slice serve to attack the opponent's weak side.
- Finally, Player A moves quickly toward the net to volley a winner into the open space left by the opponent's groundstroke.
NB: Player A must focus on precision and control of the slice serve to create a difficult angle for the opponent. Then, he must aim for the open areas of the court to conclude the point decisively with the winning volley.
