Let's talk about tennis : Let's go !
Hey there! I've been seeing ads everywhere for the new generation of smart ball machines. Things like the PongBot Pace S / Pro and other models that use AI to track your position and adjust shots in real time.
The marketing is wild. They claim these machines can:
Adapt shot trajectory based on where you’re standing
Create match-like rally patterns using AI
Adjust difficulty automatically as you improve
Sounds amazing… but also a bit too good to be true?
Before I drop that kind of money, I’d love to hear from people who’ve actually used one:
Does the AI feel natural or just gimmicky tech?
Is the tracking accurate and consistent?
Does it genuinely improve solo practice?
Any downsides, bugs, or things the ads don’t mention?
Basically: are these the future of training, or just overpriced toys?
Would love some honest experiences!
Thanks all
