Hi friends

Often in a match we turn around advanced in the field and our opponent manages to hit a long shot... we then have to move back to position ourselves and hit the ball.

Here is an exercise to practice this type of situation:

reculler pour frapper

Description of the exercise:

After smashing player B's lob from position P1, A steps back diagonally and connects two straight shots to positions P2 and P3. Once in P4, he performs another smash. R, to punctuate the exercise, sends a series of balls with varying powers and high lobs.

Organization of the exercise:

  • Player B sends a lob to position P1, Player A must return the ball with a smashe.
  • Player B sends a 2nd ball to position P2, player A must move back to position P2 to return the ball with a forehand.
  • Player B sends a 3rd ball to position P3,
  • Player A must again move back to position P3 and return this ball with a forehand.
  • B sends a lob to position P4. Player A must move back to position P4 then return the ball with a backhand. Then we return to position P1 and start again.

It's up to you, friends!
