Here is an exercise to improve your slice backhand by working on your preparation and movement.
Execution of the exercise:
Install a ball machine on the other side to send the balls a little wider. Place a cone right next to the center of the court and start near the cone and, as soon as you see the ball come out of the machine, rotate your upper body to prepare for a slice backhand.
Move quickly get behind the rebound, then hit your backhand slice. Reduce the ball machine tempo to focus on the precision of your shot. After hitting the ball, quickly return to the block with quick steps.
