Hi friends !
The “barehand absorb ball” drop exercise is often used to develop touch and feel for the ball, as well as to improve the ability to cushion the ball with the bare hand in tennis.
Execution of the exercise:
In this exercise, player A throws a bowling ball 50 cm into the air with one hand, then catches it with the other hand and brings the ball down. The goal is to feel the sensation of the ball in the hand when caught, which helps develop sensitivity and control of touch.
By throwing the ball and catching it with the other hand,
the player can also work on their timing and coordination. This can help improve the ability to absorb the momentum of the ball with your bare hand and thus work on its cushioning.
