At the Brisbane International, world number one Aryna Sabalenka defended her title in convincing fashion. She beat Marta Kostyuk 6-4, 6-3 in the final without dropping a set all week. Sabalenka’s win was dominant throughout the tournament and adds another strong result ahead of the Australian Open.

Meanwhile in Auckland, Elina Svitolina captured her 19th career WTA title by defeating Wang Xinyu 6-3, 7-6. It was a tight match, with Svitolina’s experience proving decisive in the second-set tiebreak.

Both finals was epics, Sabalenka’s power and consistency all week vs. Svitolina’s calm and clutch play when it mattered most.
