Thinking about buying a ball machine to train alone

Hi friends,

I’ve been thinking about getting a tennis ball machine to train on my own. I don’t always have a partner available, so it feels like it could really help me work on consistency and repetition.

At the same time, I’m a bit worried it might get boring after a while, especially if it just turns into mindless hitting.

For those who’ve used one regularly; do you actually see real improvement in your game? Or is it a bit overrated in the long run?

Would love to hear some honest feedback before investing in one.

Thanks guys!

Hey Marco,

I’ve been using a ball machine for a few months now and honestly, it does help; especially for grooving your strokes and improving timing.

I’ve tried the PongBot Pace S Pro and it’s pretty solid. The different drills and oscillation modes make sessions more dynamic, so it doesn’t feel too repetitive.

That said, it really depends on how you use it.

I've found an full test here that convinced me to buy and i don't regret :D
