Lost because of poor shot selection, not technique

Hey friends,
had one of those matches today that sticks with you for the wrong reasons. Physically I felt good, timing was there, legs were fine. Technically, no big breakdown either. But tactically… I made my life hard.

At key moments, I went aggressive when patience would have been smarter. Tried to finish points too early, forced lines that weren’t really there, and gave momentum away without being under real pressure.

It’s frustrating because it doesn’t feel like a bad tennis day. It feels like a bad decision-making day.

Do you ever feel like matches slip away more because of shot selection than actual stroke quality?

Yeah, I guess more matches, more mistakes, more learning.
