This tennis game teaches players to vary the rhythm during a match. It requires them to use the slice with tactical intent rather than simply to slow the ball down.
The objective is to change the pace of the rally at the right moment and use the slice to create an attacking opportunity.
How to Run the Game:
- Play a singles match.
- Each player must use at least one slice during the rally.
- The slice must be tactically justified.

Scoring System:
- A point won normally earns 1 point.
- A deep slice that produces a short ball earns 1 bonus point.
- A slice that sets up a winning attack earns 2 bonus points.
- A clean slice winner earns 3 bonus points.
- A slice played without tactical purpose costs 1 point.
Rotation:
The winner stays on the court. The loser leaves and gives up the spot to the next player. After two consecutive wins, the winner rotates out so that everyone plays regularly.
Group Challenge:
The group must complete 20 slices that bounce below the height of the opponent’s knees.
