Let's talk about tennis : Let's go !
Hello,
something I’ve noticed more and more at my club lately: a lot of players, especially juniors and regular league players, are switching to power-oriented rackets. Bigger heads, stiffer frames, easy depth with shorter swings.
At the same time, a few players still swear by more control-focused frames, saying they help them build points, manage height and spin, and stay calm under pressure.
I’m a bit torn myself. Power helps on tired days or defensive balls, but sometimes I feel like I lose touch and precision when things get fast.
Where do you stand on this?
Do you think power frames are becoming the default choice at club level, or does control still matter just as much? And out of curiosity, what models or types do you see most often around your courts?

Net rusher. No regrets.
