Let's talk about tennis : Let's go !
Hello friends,
quick question after a small mistake on my part. I wore my clay court shoes on a hard court last week… and yeah, lesson learned. A couple of awkward slips, zero confidence on changes of direction, and that constant feeling of being half a step late.
It got me thinking:
Is having separate shoes for each surface really essential, or is it just a comfort thing? I know plenty of club players who use one pair everywhere and seem fine… at least until they aren’t.
Curious to hear your experiences.
Hi Patrick, you can play with one pair on all surfaces, but there’s always a compromise. Grip, durability, stability… something suffers. Especially on hard courts.
