Grand Slams are famous for their five-set battles. These epics create legendary moments for fans. But what is their true cost to the players? Recovery technology is more advanced today. Does the current format need to change? Could best-of-three sets better protect players? Or does the five-set challenge define true champions?

Modern recovery tech helps tremendously. Cryotherapy and advanced physio are common now. But tech cannot erase cumulative fatigue. The body's fundamental need for rest remains. Each marathon match takes a toll.
