Do you actually plan rest days, or just push through?

I struggle with taking rest days. When I do not play, I feel guilty or lazy. Part of me thinks more court time always equals progress. But I also notice fatigue building up. Small aches appear, motivation drops, and focus fades.

Rest is training, not a break from it and your body improves during recovery, not during hitting. Then skipping rest eventually slows progress instead of helping it.

I learned this the hard way. Ignoring rest led to injury and burnout. Now I plan rest days like match days, no guilt attached.
