Club players copying pro tactics - good or bad?

Hi everyone, something I notice more and more at the club: a lot of players try to play like the pros. Drop shots from the baseline, heavy inside-out forehands, huge topspin rallies, even serve-plus-one patterns straight out of ATP matches.

On one hand, I get it. We all watch pro tennis, and it’s inspiring. On the other hand, I sometimes feel the basics get lost along the way: footwork breaks down, margins disappear, simple rally tolerance goes out the window.

So I’m curious how you see it.

Should club players focus mostly on fundamentals and consistency? Or is it healthy to experiment with pro-style tactics, even if execution isn’t always there yet?
