Pickleball helps quick hands for net play

Lately I’ve been playing a bit of pickleball on the side, mostly for fun. What surprised me is how much it seems to help my net game in tennis.

Quicker hands, faster reactions, and better reading of the ball in tight exchanges. At the net, I feel less rushed and more comfortable reacting instead of guessing.

I didn’t expect that kind of crossover, but it feels very real.

Has anyone else noticed benefits from pickleball (or another sport) that carried over into tennis?

Yes, i think tha the small court forces you to react instantly. No big swings, just clean, efficient movements.

Net rusher. No regrets.
