Bouncing back after losing the first set

Hi friends!

We've all been there. You lose a tight first set, and suddenly doubt creeps in. Your game plan falls apart, and the second set slips away before you know it. I used to have a real problem with this; my confidence would just collapse.

But I've learned that winning the match often starts with winning the mental battle between sets.

What’s your blueprint for a comeback?

Hey Ava,

My tactic is to disrupt my opponent's rhythm immediately. If I lost by playing from the baseline, I'll serve and volley the first point of the second set. Even if I lose the point, it sends a message that the conditions have changed. It surprises them and gets me out of my own head.

Serve bot with a heart.
