Hi
The volley is a formidable weapon, it is good to know how to master it because it is not just about making a serve and running to the net: You have to serve well, position yourself well and control the volley that follows.
Here's a thank you for practicing the forehand volley serve
.
1) I will serve on my opponent's backhand: I favor the backhand because as a general rule it is not the players' strongest shot, so I limit the risk of getting caught in a dazzling return. In this case I am serving to the right so I will aim for the T of the service square.
Be careful, I'm not necessarily going to do a flat and powerful serve, I'm going to favor a slower, Kicker serve to give me more time to get on the fly.
2) I go up on the volley, my partner does not return the serve, he will send the ball from the basket on my volley on the forehand side.
3) I hit my volley trying to place it as best as possible, it's a point finishing shot
